Our Base tunes have been thoroughly tested to not degrade reliability while also improving fuel efficiency and providing more power
We offer 3 types of tunes:
1. Mild Performance**: +10% HP increase | +100ft/lbs torque and 1-2mpg increase
for example stock 430/470hp | 1,550ft/lbs torque tune in a 12.7L. With this tune you would now be at 500-515hp | 1,650ft/lbs torque.
2. High Performance***: +30% HP increase | +150-200ft/lbs torque and 1-4mpg increase
for example stock 430/470hp | 1,550ft/lbs torque tune in a 12.7L. With this tune you would now be at 600-615hp | 1,750ft/lbs torque.
***Pyrometer is highly recommended because stock pistons are aluminum. When increasing power you also increase exhaust temps, piston failure tends to occur above 1100 Degrees Fahrenheit. With our tunes you can see these temps spike up to about 950 degrees. To avoid high Exhaust temps you can drop a gear and bring up RPM's and temps will drop. If you see a steady increase in EGT's above this reach out asap and we will relook at tune to prevent any damage to engine. Failure to run without Pyrometer can cause damage and we are not responsible. DO AT YOUR OWN RISK!***
3. Custom tuning : You tell us your goals and specs and we will tune based on your desired needs.
This method is completely custom as it says. What we do is ask what your goal is. Whether is is more power at desired RPM or Overall HP you want. This method will take more than 1 flash and will need your report submitted to us to see where changes need to be made. you can ask us as many times as you wish to retune if you notice anything that needs modification. This method would also be recommended if you changed turbo charger, injector, manifolds, or ect.
---All you need is a laptop, teamviewer, and a DLA (like nexiq usb link, Noregon DLA, Inline, ect.) if your not sure or have another kind send us a message and we will tell you if it is possible. NO OEM SOFTWARE IS REQUIRED ON YOUR END---

**Mild tunes are recommended on engines that were built with DDECIII internals. This includes engines with no oil jets to cool pistons and also engines with 2 piece piston rods. However if the engine has been rebuilt or converted over to DDECIV rods with floating pin style they can handle quite a bit more power reliably. if you are unsure of internals send us a message with your engine serial number and we will tell you what we recommend based off build. Serial number typically starts like this 06R0XXXXXX. Typical DDECIII Models include 6067WK60, 6067SK60, 6067GK60, some 6067TK60 and 6067MK60. If model is a TK or MK engine we will need serial number to verify internal parts and whether or not it can handle desired power.
***Performance tunes are recommended on DDECIV-V engines with piston cooling jets and single piece floating pin style rods. These engines are more reliable and built to withstand more heat and abuse so more modification to fuel maps and pulse width tables can be increased and withstand substantialy more power. if you are unsure your engine is spec'd with these rods send us serial number and we can tell you. Serial number typically starts with 06R0XXXXXX. Model numbers verified compatible with this tune are 6067BK60, 6067PK60, 6067HK60, and some 6067TK60 and 6067MK60. Send us your serial number if you are unsure.

While these tunes have been tested and verified, not all engines are built and treated the same. Engines with higher miles and/or improper maintenance can have a higher chance of premature failure. Performance auto technologies is not responsible for any mechanical or electrical failures or issues resulting from tuning.
However we will offer a 45 day grantee on all our tunes and can reflash to stock or change your desired power output. Just reach out to us and we will be happy to help. A small fee will be required (>$150.00) for anyone wanting to change tune or desired power unless you have opted for the custom tuning which will be done free of charge.

Many of these files increase MPG and Power Output while still retaining OEM C.A.R.B emission controls. Which as long as they are untampered and pass EPA's regulations can be used on public roadways.
Here is many custom and modified flash files for almost every electronically controlled engine produced by Detroit Diesel. These Files are For Kess and Ktag and can be modified in ecm titanium software by Alientech. Most of these files are performance flash files. Remember to follow Federal, State, and Local laws when modifying files for your engine application. Vehicles and equipment that are used on public roads must follow the CAA (Clean Air Act) implemented by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency.) Pollutants created by diesel engines have been linked to health complications such as lung cancer, increased pulmonary dieses, asthma, and many others.
Use at your own risk and all modifications should be completed by experienced tuners and professionals who specialize in performance tuning. Improper tuning can result in pre-mature engine failure, excess wear on engine components, and possible air pollutants.
